Close Settings

What it does

Let the copier recognize “close” instructions from your signal channel, either by using AI to understand messages or by matching your own phrases. You can set up:

• Full Close: close 100% of the position(s).

• Half Close: close 50%.

• Partial Close: close a smaller portion (e.g., 25%).

You can choose AI for any of these, or provide your own keywords/phrases.

How to open Close Settings

1. Run /addproperty and select your source channel.

2. Tap “Close Settings”.

Options per close type

For each of Full, Half, and Partial close, you can:

• Use AI:

• The copier uses AI to understand close instructions from natural language messages.

• Toggle “Use AI” on/off per close type.

• Custom phrases:

• Provide your own words or phrases that must appear in a message to trigger a close.

• You can combine phrases with “and” or “or”.

Examples of custom phrases:

• Full Close:

• “close all”

• “close and gold” (requires both words because of “and”)

• “close or flatten” (needs either word because of “or”)

• Half Close:

• “close half”, “partial 50”

• Partial Close:

• “close 25”, “close quarter”

Enter them as a single line when prompted:

• “close and gold”

• “close or flatten”

• “close half”

• “close 25”

Notes:

• “and” means all listed words must be in the same message.

• “or” means any one of them can trigger the action.

• If you don’t specify “and”/“or”, the entire phrase must appear exactly.

How it behaves

• When a new message arrives, the copier checks:

• If “Use AI” is enabled for that close type, the AI can interpret natural language instructions to close trades.

• If you set custom phrases, the copier looks for your words in the message:

• “and” requires all parts to be present.

• “or” requires at least one part to be present.

• Otherwise, the exact phrase must be present.

• Full Close closes all positions for the symbol.

• Half Close closes about 50% of the size.

• Partial Close closes a smaller set portion.

Tips

• Start with “Use AI” for simplicity. If you need strict control, add specific phrases.

• Be precise with “and” vs “or” to avoid unwanted triggers.

• You can use both AI and custom phrases; set what fits your provider’s style.
